Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) is our number one operational priority; we place it first in everything we do.

Safeguarding the health and safety of our people and customers is our moral responsibility and essential to the success of the business. We set out to establish a safety culture where our people instinctively take individual and collective responsibility for their own safety and that of those around them, and act accordingly.

Equally important is minimizing the environmental impact of our operations on the local communities in which work and the global one we are part of.

Our aim is to set industry leading standards that set the benchmark on health, safety and the environment performance and provide our customers with the assurance that we are constantly striving to achieve internationally compliant standards.

To achieve this we have a Group-wide policy and standards framework which, supported by comprehensive communications and training, is designed to ensure that processes and practice within each of our operating units fully comply with local legislation as the minimum requirement, and Group policies.

Every year we will report publicly on how we are doing in implementing and complying with these standards.
